What are the normal conditions of use of a CNC lathe?

The normal use of the CNC lathe must meet the following conditions: small fluctuations in the power supply voltage at the location of the machine tool, ambient temperature below 30 degrees Celsius, and relative temperature less than 80%.

Environmental requirements

The location of the machine should be far away from the vibration source, avoiding the influence of direct sunlight and thermal radiation, and avoiding the influence of humidity and airflow. If there is a vibration source near the machine, the machine should be set up around the anti-vibration groove. Otherwise, it will directly affect the processing accuracy and stability of the machine tool, will make poor contact with electronic components, failure, affecting the reliability of the machine tool.

Power supply requirements

Generally, CNC lathe is installed in the machining workshop, not only the ambient temperature changes greatly and the usage conditions are poor, but also various electromechanical equipment, resulting in large fluctuations of the power grid. Therefore, the location of installing CNC lathe requires strict control of power supply voltage. The fluctuation of power supply voltage must be within the allowed range and remain relatively stable. Otherwise, it will affect the normal work of CNC system.

Temperature conditions

The ambient temperature of the CNC lathe is lower than 30 registers, and the relative temperature is less than 80%. Generally speaking, the CNC electric control box is equipped with an internal exhaust fan or chiller to keep the electronic components, especially the central processor, working at a constant temperature or with little temperature difference change. Excessive temperature and humidity will result in reduced life of control system components and lead to increased failures. Increases in temperature and humidity and increased dust will create bonding in the integrated circuit boards and lead to short circuits.

Regulate the use of machine tools

The user is not allowed to change the parameters set by the manufacturer within the control system when using the machine tool. The setting of these parameters is directly related to the dynamic characteristics of the machine components. Only the value of the gap compensation parameters can be adjusted according to the actual situation.

Users are not free to replace machine accessories, such as the use of hydraulic chucks beyond the provisions of the manual. The manufacturer in setting accessories, fully consider the matching of the link parameters. Blindly replace the link parameters caused by the mismatch, or even cause an accident that was not estimated.

The use of hydraulic chucks, hydraulic tool holders, hydraulic tailstock, hydraulic cylinder pressure, should be within the allowable stress range, do not allow arbitrary increase.

Development trend of CNC machine tools

Since entering the 21st century, with the continuous development of CNC technology and the expansion of application areas, it plays an increasingly important role in the development of some important industries (IT, automotive, light industry, medical, etc.) for the people's livelihood, because the digitalization of the equipment required by these industries has been a major trend of modern development.

Maintenance of CNC machine tools

CNC lathe is a high-precision and high-efficiency automatic machine tool. Equipped with multi-station turret or power turret, the machine tool has a wide range of plus process performance and can process linear cylindrical, slant cylindrical, circular arc and various threads, slots, worm gears and other complex workpieces, with linear interpolation, circular arc interpolation various compensation functions, and has played a good economic effect in the mass production of complex parts.

Introduction to the basic components of common CNC machine tools

CNC machine tools are generally composed of a control medium, a CNC device, a servo system and the machine body. In order to improve the machining accuracy of the machine tool, the above system and then add a measuring device (i.e., the dashed part of the above figure), so as to constitute a closed-loop control of CNC machine tool block diagram. Open-loop control system works like this:

History of rotary presses

William Nicholson patented the rotary press in 1790. The rotary press itself was a development of the cylinder press, which was also patented by William Nicholson, invented by Beaucher in France in the 1780s and Friedrich Koenig in the early 19th century.
